About Bernards Township Public Schools
Bernards Township Public Schools has a straightforward K–12 structure. Cedar Hill, Liberty Corner, Mount Prospect, and Oak Street serve the elementary years through grade five. All four attendance areas then join at William Annin Middle School for grades six through eight, followed by Ridge High School. The district serves the Basking Ridge and Liberty Corner communities without dividing them into separate secondary systems.
Elementary assignment is the district’s only geographic branch. It can shape the first six years through daily travel, classmates, and the school contacts a household uses most often. After grade five, every ordinary pathway leads to the same middle school and then the same high school. A household must confirm the correct elementary school, but there are no competing middle-school feeders, regional-district handoffs, or multiple high-school boundaries to decode. Once students reach sixth grade, the township shares one sequence through graduation.
