About Evesham Township School District
Evesham Township School District ends after eighth grade. It operates six elementary schools and two middle schools for local children, but it does not operate the high school that most graduates attend. The move into grade nine is also a governance handoff from Evesham’s PK–8 board and registration system to the Lenape Regional High School District.
Cherokee High School is the normal regional destination for Evesham residents. A limited exception is the Seneca Small School Option, which permits eligible students from Evesham and Mount Laurel to apply to Seneca High School. The option does not begin as unrestricted campus choice: Evesham students first register through their home high-school route at Cherokee and then follow the separate Small School Option procedure.
This order matters. An eighth grader’s current Evesham school cannot complete the high-school enrollment as though the child were staying in the same district. Families must create the regional-district registration record, identify Cherokee as the home school, and treat Seneca as an application-based alternative. The calendar, transportation contacts, course planning, and family portal also shift to Lenape Regional once the student enters high school.
