About Paramus Public Schools
Paramus uses a straightforward K–12 ladder after preschool. Five elementary schools serve kindergarten through grade four, East Brook and West Brook middle schools serve grades five through eight, and Paramus High School receives the districtwide grades 9–12 population. The residence can determine both the elementary school and one of the two middle-school branches; the high-school destination is shared.
Preschool is administered separately through the Early Childhood Center, with classes operating at Paramus High School and Parkway School. The annual registration notice assigns age groups and available seats to those locations, so the current notice controls the preschool venue.
Later K–4 and middle-school assignments are determined separately from the early-childhood placement. The stable K–12 questions are the residence-assigned elementary school, the East Brook or West Brook branch, and the common destination at Paramus High.
