Vineland Public Schools Calendar 2026-2027

Vineland’s public-school route divides before it finally reunites at high school. Most children begin in an address-assigned elementary school, then enter a middle-grade network that includes Edward Johnstone, Sgt. Dominick Pilla, Thomas Wallace, and Veterans Memorial. Current district pages show sixth-grade entry and eighth-grade activities across these campuses, but the public website does not present one durable elementary-to-middle feeder chart. Registration records and the assigned home school are safer guides than distance or school name.

All regular routes lead to Vineland Senior High School, yet that shared high school has an internal grade transition. The Tanner building serves grades nine and ten, while the Asselta building serves grades eleven and twelve. Moving after tenth grade changes the student’s principal, building routines, and daily location without changing the diploma-granting high school.

Vineland also accepts annual hardship requests from PK–8 families seeking a different home school. The process is an exception to the address assignment, not districtwide open enrollment. Approval depends on the district’s review for that cycle and does not create a permanent feeder right for siblings or later grades.
